What is TED?

TED is a clinical-educational tool for describing educational and didactic interventions intended for students with disabilities and Special Educational Needs. TED allows the teacher/therapist, in a clear and specific way, to manage all aspects concerning the educational/rehabilitation planning of the patient/student, from the initial assessment phase to the final one concerning the outcomes of the personalized intervention.

Assessment

With the use of a criterial questionnaire we developed, called EASY-LIFE MAP, the strengths and weaknesses of the student/patient can be identified. Based on this information, TED will provide advice and guidance for rehabilitation/educational intervention planning.

I.E.P./I.R.P. support

Using the information collected through the questionnaire, TED supports the teacher in drafting the Individualized Education Plan, according to the model of DI 182/2020, and the therapist in drafting the Individualized Rehabilitation Plan. TED automatically fills in the sections on personal and diagnostic data, enters the users' strengths and goals to be achieved, with the associated ICF (International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health) codes, and implements specific procedures for each goal.

The TEDPlanning app makes it possible to organize different working sessions with each user, offering clear scheduling of sessions.

Procedures

Detailed textual procedures are provided for each established goal. These procedures offer specific guidelines on how to teach each of the different skills considered. In this way, teachers can follow precise guidelines to best support students' skill development.

Software ecosystem

TED is a tool that serves as an ecosystem, bringing together all of our educational solutions, including LIAR, ASTRAS and EDUARD. Besides providing detailed text-based procedures for each objective, TED allows the work to be integrated with a variety of other tools. This integrated approach enables more effective planning and execution of activities, supporting teachers and therapists in optimizing each student's educational/rehabilitation journey.

Monitoring

The progress of the sessions is constantly monitored through a simple and intuitive evaluation system. This system enables detailed tracking of the work done and the progress made by each user, thanks to a series of graphs showing the goals achieved and the work done. In this way, teachers and therapists can easily evaluate the effectiveness of their educational/rehabilitation strategies and implement the necessary changes to optimize each user's progress.

TED automatically inserts strengths and goals to be achieved with users, simplifying and speeding up the drafting of the P.E.I./P.R.I.
